President Maduro orders the PSUV to strengthen government management, consolidate Constituent Power and prepare for armed struggle

This Thursday, September 11, at the Extraordinary Plenary of the V Congress of the Red Awning and the IV Youth Congress of the organization (JPSUV), the president of the red awning, Nicolás Maduro, announced the three primary tasks of the political organization at this time.

In this regard, he specified that the first task is to consolidate the Government's capacity to solve, address and channel the problems of the People directly with the National Plan of the Seven Transformations. “When we went out to seek the vote, we told the people that we are people who resolve, how to assert the word and go out and resolve,” he stressed.

“This task is above any other that the shots sound, that they sound, that went in there we took them out, but what can never be stopped is the Government's capacity to serve our people,” he emphasized.

As a second task, President Maduro pointed out that it is a matter of consolidating a new popular constituent process in all the country's social movements and the consolidation of the grassroots power of the national community movement.

Also, on the third task, he explained that it consists of preparing the party and the nation to move from “forms of unarmed struggle to forms of armed struggle if Venezuela is militarily attacked by North American imperialism.”

He reiterated that the party, as rector of the Revolution, must adapt quickly and with quality to face any aggression.

He also recalled the activation of the Independence Plan 200 carried out this Thursday morning, which mobilizes military, police, militia and popular forces in 284 parts of the country.
