The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the beginning of the activation of the Communal Militia Units.
From his Telegram channel, he posted “we started the Community Militia Units to make our sovereignty prevail, with the power of the Nation. We will never have a guerrilla or colonialist military doctrine, since our plans seek to ensure that peace reigns in Venezuela. Long live the Fatherland! Long live the people!”
