President Maduro paid tribute to journalist Aquiles Nazoa 104 years after his birth

On the occasion of commemorating the 104th anniversary of the birth of the writer, essayist and journalist Aquiles Nazoa, President Nicolás Maduro, gave words in his honor.

“104 years after the birth of Achiles Nazoa, we celebrate Venezuelan poetry as a tribute to one of the most cultured and sensitive writers in the country, an eternal “ Smiling Passerby”, a great militant of noble causes and defender of our cultural identity. Happy National Poetry Day! ”, wrote the head of state on his account on the social network X.

Nazoa was a multifaceted poet and writer who dedicated his life mainly to writing prose texts and poems with a language that was both lyrical and fun.
