President Maduro paid tribute to the peasants of our country

On World Agriculture Day, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, paid tribute this Tuesday to the peasants and peasants of Venezuela, who represent the fundamental productive force of the economic model that drives the country.

“Agriculture, more than an activity, is the path to our true economic sovereignty, a crucial victory in the fight against economic war. It's the greatest demonstration that with our own hands, Venezuela can sustain itself,” he said through his Telegram channel.

He also stressed that “with our ingenuity, technology and ancient knowledge and the work of our hands, we will achieve full autonomy in the production of food, seeds and inputs, thus eliminating our external dependence”.

“The challenge is clear: to move towards regenerative and agroecological agriculture, which is not only kind to the earth, but also allows us to produce quality food. This way we will ensure that our people eat Healthy, Safe, Tasty and Sovereign,” he said.
