This Sunday, June 23, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led the ceremony of the arrival of the symbolic remains of the politician, lawyer and who served as the first president of Venezuela, Cristóbal Mendoza, to the National Pantheon in Caracas.

During the activity, the Head of State was accompanied by the first female combatant, Cilia Flores; the vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez; the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez; the governor of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez; and other national authorities and representatives of the People's Power.

Upon the arrival of the symbolic remains of this famous Venezuelan, the National President and the attendees enjoyed a cultural event in honor of the Trujillo who dedicated his life to supporting just causes for the benefit of all the inhabitants of Venezuela.
