The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro Moros, specified that there are no tensions between the United States (USA) and Venezuela, but rather aggression against our country.
This was stated in his program this Monday, September 08, With Maduro+, during the digital zone section.
“Tension? What there is is an aggression by the United States against Venezuela; these are euphemisms that seek to normalize the aggression of a Goliath against a David; of a power against a peaceful country,” he said.
In that regard, he added that “all AP journalists and news agencies (..) all of them Reuter say: 'tensions are growing', 'Maduro mobilizes the militia and supports the growth of tensions', and what do they want us to do? (...) Don't we have the right to defend the country's sovereignty? Don't we have the right to defend our patriotic history and that of our people? Tensions is a cowardly euphemism,” he emphasized.
