The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, transmitted this Thursday the message of solidarity sent by his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to the Venezuelan people, during the telephone contact they had earlier.

“He told me: 'I want to express my admiration to you for the example of the courage of the Venezuelan people in the face of the circumstances they have experienced. And I want you to know that we consistently support the Venezuelan process, President Maduro and your efforts to defend your national sovereignty and the peace of the entire South American region, '” the Head of State quoted Putin.

From the Amalivaca commune, in Caracas, during a popular assembly, President Maduro said that it was an extensive conversation, in which they addressed the recent agreements signed between the two countries.

“19 documents were signed, 19 new recovery projects in the fields of science, technology, health, agriculture, industry, energy and stop cutting,” he said.

Both leaders ratified the celebration, next year 2026, of the High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN), “the 20th Russia-Venezuela Joint Commission, in Caracas,”.

He stressed that for more than 200 years “the peoples of Russia and Venezuela came together on a single historic path of union, emancipation, friendship (...) Russia and Venezuela have invariably marched together yesterday, today and forever,” he emphasized.
