“Here no one is going to privatize the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), or to disband the Bolivarian Militia, nor is anyone going to license the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), nor is anyone going to bring the gringos to be heads of the FANB, nor their manuals nor will the Southern Command ever return, because in Venezuela, we Venezuelans rule and in force armed our soldiers”.
With this message, the Commander-in-Chief of the FANB, during the ceremony on the occasion of the 203rd Anniversary of the Battle of Carabobo and Bolivarian Army Day, ratified the sovereignty of our Homeland in the face of the oligarchy's attempts to privatize everything in the country, including armed force to be annexed to the forces of the U.S. Southern Command.
“Oligarchs tremble that there are soldiers here to defend the Homeland and to defend the Bolivarian Revolution of the 21st Century, of our Commander Hugo Chávez and that is what they want in Washington to scratch,” he said.
