President Maduro: Today the People courageously respond to the call of the Clarín de la Patria!

This Saturday, August 30, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the massive participation of the People in the second day of military enlistment that was deployed throughout the territory in defense of the Homeland.

“I congratulate the heroic Venezuelan people for their massive and exemplary participation in the second Day of Enlistment of the Simon Bolivar National Plan for Sovereignty and Peace, an act that reaffirms their commitment to the integral defense of the nation,” he said through his Telegram channel.

In this regard, he reaffirmed that these days show that the spirit of Father Simón Bolívar “lives in every worker, fisherman, fisherwoman, aquaculturist and aquaculture who today courageously responds to the call of the Clarín de la Patria”.

He reaffirmed that “the cohesion of our popular forces has become an invincible historic block in the face of any threat from US imperialism and its fascist lackeys.”

For this reason, he emphasized that this people are organized in conscience and love for Venezuela. “Every enlisted person represents the will of a people who do not give up, who prepare, unite and defend their sovereignty with dignity and courage,” he said.

He ratified that despite the threats, in Venezuela “the path of peace and full independence is built with the leadership of the people. Let us continue to move forward with firmness and strength from our rebellious and libertarian roots, with the clarity of our destiny.”
