The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated on Tuesday his rejection of colonialist licenses from the United States (USA), confirming that they are not necessary for the country's economic development.

Through his account on the social network X, the head of state quoted the revolutionary leader Ernesto “Che” Guevara: “North American imperialism 'can't be believed so much'”, referring to the non-compliance by the United States with the agreements signed with the Bolivarian Government, through license 44 on the Venezuelan oil industry.

In this regard, he stated that "Venezuela does not need licenses to grow, expand, develop and, above all, to take its own path of social and political stability.”

During the 42nd broadcast of his show Con Maduro+, this Monday the Dignitary pointed out that imperial actions “try to hurt Venezuela again”, but “trying to hurt us, as a friend of mine says, they hurt them.”

In conversation with Spanish journalist Ignacio Ramonet, in the Digital Zone segment, President Maduro emphasized that this “has been demonstrated with the documents in hand, official documents signed by the U.S. government. The United States of America failed to comply with a comma or a word of the agreement signed in October in Qatar after intensive negotiations.”
