President Maduro visits the Amalivacan Socialist Commune to monitor the progress of the Communal Government

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, visited the Socialist Amalivaca Commune this Thursday, in the Pinto Salinas sector, in the El Recreo parish of Caracas, a place where the Communal Government has demonstrated the strengthening of direct and participatory democracy.
This territorial area is made up of 15,950 inhabitants, which is equivalent to 6,571 families that live in the sector; where 24 Community Councils are active.
The Pinto Salinas sector has the “Pinto Salinas” Comprehensive Diagnostic Center 1 and an Ernesto “Che” Guevara Ophthalmological Center, where various services are offered.
The services benefit both the community of El Recreo parish and residents of Miranda state. The health center dates back to 2003 when Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez inaugurated it.
More than 3,300 people attend the CDI and the ophthalmological center every month, who are treated by the medical excellence of 21 Venezuelan and Cuban specialists, in different areas of health.
