President Maduro: We aim to train millions of good boys in values

At the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the comprehensive education of Venezuelan youth.

“What we want, if we talk about millions, is to train millions of well-educated boys and girls in values, with the best professional preparation,” said the Head of State from the Urban Educational Unit Achelpohl in Caracas.

During his speech, the national president evoked the thoughts of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, recalling that free peoples overcome powerful empires”, referring to the historic struggle of the Venezuelan people for their autonomy and independence. “Venezuela is a courageous, multicolored people with great conscience. It's not one man, it's a forest, it's a rain, it's millions,” he said.

President Maduro also paid tribute to Commander Hugo Chávez, whom he described as “an exceptional, elevated human being, like from another planet,” and highlighted his legacy as the beginning of a new historic era for the country. “First Chávez arrived, then this guy who is here, and from day one they started saying that Maduro was the bad guy. But it turns out that it's the other way around: the good guy in the movie was Chávez, and the good guy in the movie is also Maduro, because this film stars the people,” he reflected.
