President Maduro: We Are Safely Increasing Our Deployment Capacity

On Thursday morning, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led the activation of the Deployment of Plan Independence 200: Active Resistance and Permanent Offensive, from Ciudad Caribia, La Guaira state, where he assured that deployment capacity for the defense of the nation is increasing.

More than 5 thousand communal units have been activated with Operation Independence 200, President Maduro said, stressing that there is significant progress “safely, we are increasing our deployment capacity whenever and however, we are active on the Falconian coast, the number 1 Peace Zone by Catatumbo, in Táchira...”

“No one can disturb independence, this People have someone to defend it, Armed Forces, Militia, this People are not orphans, this People are not alone and if we have to fight we will,” he said.

Likewise, the Head of State said that it is necessary to guarantee shores free from invaders and imperialists “by increasing the capacity for action, this Operation Independence 200 puts it to the test”.

During the activation, he was accompanied by the first combatant, Cilia Flores, the local community, by the General Staff and mayor of Caracas Carmen Meléndez, among others.
