President Maduro: With the Popular-Military-Police Fusion, we will continue on the path of victory

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, paid tribute to the heroes and heroines of the historic Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo, which took place on July 24, 1823, and praised the fundamental role of the Bolivarian National Navy.

During his message, he emphasized the importance of perfect unity between the People, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the Police Agencies as a guarantee of peace, stability and victory in the face of any threat.

“With the perfect fusion, the perfect Popular-Military-Police union, we will continue on the path of victory marked by the united liberators, we will always win,” he emphasized.

He pointed out that thanks to the commitment of these men and women responsible for defending the country's sovereignty, “today we have a Homeland, a Homeland for which to make permanent sacrifices. The historical responsibility that the Bolivarian Navy of Venezuela bears on its shoulders is no small thing.”

He emphasized that the Navy represents a clear guide, a precise model inspired by the founding heroes who paved the way to freedom.

The National President urged members of the Navy to follow the example of those who gave their lives for the Fatherland, reaffirming that it is an essential component of the development, happiness and comprehensive defense of Venezuela.

“United we will always win. Long live Bolivar! Long live our heroes of the Naval Battle of the Lake! Long live the Bolivarian Navy! “, he concluded.
