President Nicolás Maduro on the 27J: I hope that this will be the 31st victory for our country

On Youth projects, he asked the People of Venezuela to participate in this first consultation.

“I hope that this 33rd constitutional election will be the 31st victory as it will be for our country, it will consolidate local power,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, referring to the upcoming municipal elections to be held this Sunday, July 27.

From the TELESUR studies, where he gave an interview to mark the 20th anniversary of this multistate channel, the National President stressed that in addition, in this process, the first Popular Consultation for Youth projects will be carried out as part of the concrete actions aimed at strengthening true democracy where the People decide what State money is invested in.

“Sunday is going to be a very beautiful day, it will be a holiday, a day of peace and it will consolidate this process of accumulation of forces that has led us to constitute in Venezuela according to the concept of (Antonio) Gramsci, in Venezuela we have managed to build and is in the consolidation phase a true historical majority block of the People and the Bolivarian Revolution,” he said.

On Youth projects, he asked the People of Venezuela to participate in this first consultation. “And I told the people of Venezuela not to leave young people alone, there is a great opportunity this Sunday to go out and support young people and their projects without political meanness or calculation,” he said.

When asked about the opposition's chances of winning this Sunday, he said that he hopes that they will be able to obtain some victories that will help promote new leadership away from the old actors that he did not hesitate to point out have been responsible for the multiple failures in the last 26 years.

“Hopefully the opposition will also be renewed, hopefully they will bring out their mayors, who show that they have leadership and do not depend on the old and old who in 26 years have led them from failure to failure,” he said.
