President Nicolás Maduro: Venezuela will continue to stand in the face of the new US aggression

This Wednesday, September 03, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that in the face of the new aggression of the United States government, “Venezuela is standing, and I tell you, Venezuela will continue to stand, with serenity and firmness.”

“With unwavering faith in the victory, peace and national unity of all its people and all its military and police forces,” he said.

He stressed that this is a new onslaught by North American imperialism, “it will not be the first or the last, just another onslaught.”

This was stated during the event he led on the occasion of the Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the War of Resistance of the Chinese People against Japanese Aggression, where he maintained that “we are good people, people who love peace”.

However, the head of state stressed: “But let them know, we are fierce warriors when they mess with our land, with our history and with our rights. This land belongs to Venezuelans and Venezuelan women.”

“There will be no homeland or empire that can touch and desecrate the sacred ground bequeathed to us by the Liberators,” he said.
