The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, described as “extraordinary” the election day that takes place at the national level this Sunday, July 27.

“Venezuela has given the people the opportunity to express their absolute will in each of these projects and in the election of mayors, mayors and councilors,” he said.

Amoroso assured that Venezuela is setting “an example for the entire universe of the deepening of democracy and once again we Venezuelans have demonstrated that what the people want is tranquility and the strengthening of each of our institutions.”

He also thanked each of the candidates, as well as the international observers who accompanied the election party.

Finally, he highlighted the participation of young people in the choice of their projects, a fact that he described as “great”, while welcoming this initiative of President Nicolás Maduro.
