President of Colombia asked for citizen support in the face of a new coup attempt

This Tuesday, the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, warned of an attempted coup d'etat aimed at his dismissal; in this regard, he highlighted the importance of citizen support in the face of attempts against his Government.

Through the social network X, the Colombian president denounced that “they have organized to carry out the coup d'etat. What was announced is developing”.

“It will depend on the people who elected me whether the oligarchic plan becomes a reality or we defeat them again. This will not be a parliamentary vote by our enemies to get us out. This will be a popular struggle,” stressed the Colombian Head of State.
