President of INAMEH: The temperature in the country will increase progressively (+Fires)

The president of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH), Reidy Zambrano, explained that the temperature in the country will increase progressively, as a result of the perpendicular incidence of solar rays.

During his participation in the Coffee in the Morning program broadcast by VTV, he explained that the National Risk Management System maintains constant daily monitoring from the National Institute of Meteorology to issue a map of fire spread.

“Fires are directly related to temperatures when they tend to increase, as is the case right now and for the next few days the probability of forest fires is greater,” he said.

He also called on the Venezuelan people to be aware of all the publications that INAMEH has through its social networks, where we disseminate all important hydrometeorological information. “If any type of significant change occurs immediately, we give a corresponding alert in the case of these high temperatures,” he said.

In addition, given the increase in temperatures, he asserted that one of the main recommendations is to try not to be exposed to direct sunlight for so many hours, especially between 10 and 4 in the afternoon or after noon. “In addition, we must always be well hydrated,” he added.
