President of the Parliament praised Jorge Rodríguez father's “iron will” (+seeding)

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted this Friday the “iron will” of Jorge Rodríguez Sr., on the 49th anniversary of his vile assassination by the fascism of the Fourth Republic.

From the General Cemetery of the South, in Caracas, where the mortal remains of the martyr leader rest, Rodríguez stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution achieved the redemption of his father, in honor of his struggles for just causes.

“The redemption and ratification of his iron will is the force that Hugo Chávez and then Nicolás Maduro have put into building a country where all of us can be free, can be happy and, above all, where those who were postponed for centuries can be recognized as humans, as Venezuelans and as patriots,” he said.

He also exalted the dignity with which the revolutionary leader “also faced the friendly historic enemy”, such as the right wing and imperialism, and which serves as an example for “that youth who are on the street today, who are also active in this great struggle, which is a struggle of resistance, which is the fight against fascism, it is the fight for humanity, it is the fight for the future of humanity and for the human condition to prevail over beasts,” he emphasized.
