President of the Supreme Court: Expansion of the number of judges deepens debate and justice

The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez, said that the reform of the Organic Law of this Power of the Venezuelan State will contribute to the deepening of the justice system.

“This reform of the Organic Law of the Supreme Court of Justice, where they call for the incorporation of 12 more magistrates, which is not just a number president and colleagues, it is more will, it is the debate, it is the deepening of justice as a sine qua non way to continue cultivating peace,” he said.

He highlighted the exercise of self-criticism carried out by State institutions in search of correcting and consolidating a model of justice adapted to the demands of Venezuelans and the requirements of the human rights system.

“Today we understand that this is clearly an unstoppable force that leads us to continue to deepen democracy, peace, love, reconciliation (...), we still have a long way to conquer, to achieve, but what we have done fills us with satisfaction because it vindicates the human aspect that is decisive for continuing to resolve a situation, because it is very demanding that it is very demanding, but it also fills us with hope for everything we still have to conquer,” he said.
