President Rodríguez: Venezuela will share experiences of agricultural production and food sovereignty at an FAO forum

The President of the Republic,
Delcy Rodríguez, reported that Venezuela will share its experiences in agricultural
production and food sovereignty during the World
Food Forum of the United Nations Food and
Agriculture Organization (FAO), which is being held in Rome, Italy.
“We bring the experience of
Venezuela and the will to continue strengthening international cooperation in
favor of agricultural production, food security and sovereignty, and sustainable
development,” said the president through her Telegram channel.
Rodríguez also highlighted the
importance of agroproductive processes responsible with nature and
noted that Venezuela seeks to move forward “with that objective of returning to
zero hunger again.”
“We work with the conviction
that access to food is a fundamental right and an
indispensable condition for the well-being of our peoples,” he said.
The forum, which takes place from 8 to 16 October under the motto “Innovate today. Nourish Tomorrow”, brings together representatives from different countries to promote cooperation, innovation and investment in agri-food systems.
