The Peace and
Democratic Coexistence Program set up a collection center in Plaza Alfredo Sadel, located in
Las Mercedes, for the purpose of receiving donations aimed at supporting
volunteers, victims and care teams in humanitarian work.
This was announced by the coordinator of
this program, Ernesto Villegas, through his Telegram channel, in which
he indicated that the collection day takes place
between 8:00 in the morning and 6:00 in the afternoon.
Among the requested inputs are
food prepared in disposable containers, non-perishable products such as
rice, pasta, grains, canned goods and milk formulas, as well as drinking water, oral
serums and energy bars for volunteer support.
In addition, the collection center will receive basic
medicines, gauze, bandages, antiseptics, gloves, masks, preferably
N95, antibacterial gel, personal hygiene items, blankets, diapers and other
supplies intended for the care of affected people.
Materials are also required for logistics and rescue tasks, including flashlights, batteries, packing tapes, high-strength ropes, vests, plastic tables for service points, tools for removing debris, as well as clothing and footwear in good condition, clean and classified.
