The Attorney General of the Republic, Larry Devoe, during a meeting with the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that within the reform of the Venezuelan Judiciary, aspects such as the infrastructure and selection of personnel that make up the different institutions of the justice system must be evaluated.
“As of June 1, the national deployment will begin and we are progressively addressing all fronts in the country's states, meeting with all sectors; judges, prosecutors, judiciary workers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), peasants, indigenous people and young people in order to build that shared diagnosis and that road map that you have indicated,” he said from the Miraflores Palace, during the presentation of the balance sheet on the application of the Amnesty and Democratic Coexistence Act, a legal instrument enacted on February 19, 2026, in order to consolidate reconciliation and social peace in the country.
He explained that hard work has been done on the reform of the criminal justice system, addressing different aspects with the firm intention of streamlining judicial processes throughout the national territory.
