This Thursday, September 18, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, held a pleasant meeting with the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CCPCC) and Secretary of Organization, Roberto Morales Ojeda, at which they signed a work agreement, organization and cooperation between both parties, with the objective of strengthening the bonds of friendship between nations.

During the event, Cabello thanked Cuba for the solidarity that Cuba has always had with the Bolivarian Revolution. “Your visit is always good news for us and wherever you are (Hugo) Chávez and Fidel (Castro) you see us happy because we have known how to stick together,” he said.

For his part, the representative of the Cuban delegation ratified the willingness of the Communist Party of Cuba to continue working with the PSUV in political, diplomatic and communication action. At the same time, he expressed “continued support for the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in its right to defend its Homeland, its independence and its sovereignty.”

Also present at this meeting were Cuba: the member of the CCPCC secretariat and head of the Economic Productive Department, Jorge Luis Broche Lorenzo; the member of the CCPCC and head of the Department of International Relations, Emilio Lozada García; and the Cuban ambassador to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez.

Likewise, Osnay Miguel Colina Rodríguez, member of the CCPCC and president of the Organizing Committee of the XXII Congress of the CTC; Aylin Álvarez García, member of the CCPCC and first vice-rector of the University of the “Ñico López” Party; Caridad Meyvis Estévez Echavarria, member of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Cuba, of the Council of State and First Secretary of the National Committee of the UJC; Luis Orlando Oliveros Serrano, vice-head of the Department of International Relations of the CCPCC; Ariel Delgado Ramos, official of the office of the member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the CCPCC; Jorge Luis Mayo Fernández, 2nd Head of mission of the Embassy of Cuba in Venezuela; and Juan Carlos Frómeta de la Rosa, official of the Department of International Relations of the CCPCC, are part of the Cuban delegation visiting Venezuela.

Cabello was also accompanied during the meeting by the Executive Secretary of the PSUV, Eduardo Piñate; the Vice President of International Affairs of the PSUV, Tania Díaz; the Vice President of Organization of the PSUV, Pedro Infante; the Vice President of Religious Affairs of the PSUV, Nicolás Maduro Guerra; the Vice President of Productive Economy of the PSUV; Jesús Farías; the Secretary General of the JPSUV, Grecia Colmenares; and the Commissioner for International Affairs of the JPSUV; Yosneisy Paredes.
