PSUV supports CNE statement on presidential election schedule (+Communiqué)

In a statement, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) congratulated the decision of the National Electoral Council on the schedule for the 2024 presidential election.

From the social network X, the red awning announced its position always in favor of “the unity of the people, in strict adherence to democratic principles, political pluralism and the values of freedom, independence, sovereignty and national self-determination”.

The statement adds that the National Electoral Council set July 28 as the date for the elections, promptly responding to the content of the Caracas Comprehensive Agreement.

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), as an expression of the unity of the people, in strict adherence to democratic principles, political pluralism and the values of freedom, independence, sovereignty and national self-determination, congratulates the statement of the National Electoral Council on the schedule for the 2024 presidential election, which established July 28 as the date of the elections, promptly taking into account the content of the Caracas Comprehensive Agreement.

From our political organization, we reiterate our firm willingness to comply with the rules that the electoral body emanates in the face of this very important event and to continue promoting dialogue as a political tool for resolving disputes in peace and democracy.

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela, under the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro Moros and with the legacy of our beloved Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, reiterates to the country and the international community its commitment to the General Principles and the Expansion of Guarantees for the 2024 presidential election, established in the Comprehensive Agreement of Caracas, signed by the various organizations for political purposes, the sectors of social, economic, academic, cultural and religious life of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

We are going to an election with equal opportunities for all and we are going to deploy all our forces to win the victory.
