The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA - TCP), Rander Peña called for this Saturday, August 30, a world day of solidarity with Venezuela in connection with the escalation of violence that the United States (USA) has led against it.

“In Venezuela, we support this mobilization that will take place tomorrow in more than 100 cities around the world whose sons we know to be Bolivar and Hugo Chávez because we are waging global resistance to an oppressive system that ends up attacking the just causes of humanity,” he said.

In that sense, he called on political parties, social movements, women, youth, cultors (...) to those of us who love peace to “take to the streets, Bolivar squares and to every public space where we are and to hold demonstrations in order to demand that the U.S. government cease hostilities and aggressions against the peoples of Latin America because it is intended to attack their peace and we are not going to allow it”.
