From October 01 to 20, batches of coffee will be received to participate in the long-awaited IV International Meeting of Venezuelan Specialty Coffees (EICEV 2025), to be held in the month of November.
Interested producers must submit their lots with a minimum weight of 35 kilos and a maximum of 60 kilos, which will undergo a rigorous evaluation process by a panel of experts.
This stage is key to selecting the coffees that will represent Venezuelan excellence at the meeting, according to a review published on the website of the Ministry of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands.
To facilitate the delivery of the lots, eight regional circuits have been arranged strategically distributed throughout the country.
In this sense, in Circuit 01, which covers the states of Lara, Yaracuy, Zulia and Falcón, the lots will be received at the headquarters of UPS Nicolás Hurtado (Café Venezuela), under the coordination of José Fonseca.
Circuit 02 includes the states of Monagas, Anzoátegui, Sucre and Bolívar, with a collection point at the Leonardo Infante Collection Center (ENC), where Rosibel Zamora will be in charge of the process. For coffee farmers in Portuguesa and Barinas, Circuit 03 has set up the headquarters of the Valle Verde Coffee Plant in Biscucuy, with the attention of Atahualpa García.
In Circuit 04, corresponding to the state of Mérida, the lots will be received at the headquarters of the Coffee Producers Association of Los Andes (Aprocandes), located in Santa Cruz de Mora, under the supervision of Luis Andrade.
Circuit 05, which covers the state of Trujillo, will have as its collection point the headquarters of UPS Argimiro Gabaldón (Café Venezuela), with Héctor Graterol as manager.
For the state of Táchira, Circuit 06 establishes Cafea's headquarters in Rubio, where Pedro Guzmán will be receiving the lots. Circuit 07, which brings together the states of Aragua, Carabobo and Guárico, will be headquartered by the Empresa Nacional del Café S.A., under the coordination of Luis Amanau.
In addition, Circuit 08, which includes La Guaira, Miranda and the Capital District, will receive the lots at the Torrefactory Fama de América, with Franklin Garrido as responsible.
This event will once again bring together the best coffees in the country and certified tasters from different parts of the world, consolidating Venezuela as a reference in coffee quality.
