The Museum of the Castle of San Antonio de la Eminencia in Cumaná was the scene where recognition was given to 96 officials of the Bolivarian National Police after carrying out logistical support and security tasks in the state of La Guaira and in the capital region, entities most affected by the earthquakes of June 24
The PNB official, Mercedes Quispe, assured that the experiences lived are too painful and difficult to tell, “for people to come to us who need to find a family member, it was a hard and strong experience, I have no words to express, only consideration and respect for all the people who stayed there and entrust themselves and thank God for another day of life.”
The event was attended by civil and military authorities who expressed their words of recognition to the women and men of the Eastern entity, who demonstrated courage, commitment and solidarity with their peers.
The head of the Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI) in Sucre state, Ángel Rivero García, said that the diploma that “you have in your hands speaks of value and merit, carry it in your heart and place it in a place that you can see every day and that encourages you to continue working for our country.”
The 96 officials of the PNB are joined by 192 officials from the fire departments and public security agencies who returned on Thursday after providing their services in the states affected by the earthquakes.
