Red Farmapatria reaches 93% of operations in areas affected by earthquakes

The Farmapatria pharmacy network managed to restore 93% of its operations in the areas affected by the earthquake of last June 24. This timely reactivation was possible after the activation of contingency protocols and the immediate deployment of technical personnel, thus guaranteeing the supply and direct access of the population to essential medicines, said Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

Technical infrastructure inspections confirmed that the states of Aragua, Carabobo, Falcón and Yaracuy are 100% operational, operating normally and without risks for users or workers. In the Capital District, the network maintains 19 of its 22 headquarters active, while the remaining three remain under preventive review.

For its part, Miranda state reports eight operating headquarters out of a total of 12, keeping four establishments inactive due to damage to their structures. In addition, only one headquarters is active in the state of La Guaira, due to the physical damage suffered in the rest of the entity's business premises.

Civil engineers from Farmapatria, together with Civil Protection and Fire officials, carry out exhaustive evaluations in the affected localities of Miranda, Capital District and La Guaira, including administrative headquarters and workers' housing. While the diagnoses are being drawn up, the company activated alternative service channels and the redirection of inventories to the nearest operating points.
