Remigio Ceballos: We are still working to guarantee order and peace in Venezuela

This Sunday, July 28, the sectoral vice-president for Citizen Security and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, highlighted that citizen security agencies will remain deployed throughout the country to guarantee peace and protection of the people.

In this regard, during a press conference, he highlighted the great democratic participation of the Venezuelan people in the electoral process, which took place in peace and tranquility.

“We are still working to guarantee order and peace, we are active with intelligence, patrolling and immediate reaction activities, in a wide deployment at the national level,” he said.

He also recognized the actions of the security agencies that acted impeccably and as established by the Law and the Constitution in the face of the tiny events that occurred by groups that tried to promote acts of violence.

At the same time, he extended an invitation to Venezuelans to wait for the results of the National Electoral Council (CNE) in peace. “If we move forward for the full enjoyment of the rights of all (...) here are the organs of citizen security to protect the people and the rights of all citizens as established by the Constitution, we continue to work for the welfare, for the peace and happiness of the people,” he said.
