The leader of the Martin Luther King Center and the World March of Women in Cuba, Llanisca Lugo, rejected the sanctions imposed by the government of the United States and Venezuela while expressing her commitment to the Bolivarian Revolution.

He said that at the Meeting for a World Social Alternative, the participants “discussed the integration scenario and it has been very good to recognize the accumulated path that we have woven in ALBA, today we have around twenty processes of political formation, which are fighting the communication battle with strategic and narrative articulation”.

For his part, the leader of the Landless Rural Workers Movement in Brazil, Joao Pedro Stédile, stated that currently “capitalism adopts war as a historic tactic to generate wealth in the war industry”.

He stated that when capitalism enters into crisis, they become more offensive and historically adopt the tactic of incurring into wars to generate a market for its war industry, and, on the other hand, it tries to hoard the goods of nature throughout the global south as a way of accumulating wealth more quickly.
