Rhythmic gymnastics assigned places to the National Games

Caracas became champion of the rhythmic gymnastics qualifier of the 2026 Youth National Games by winning 3 gold, 2 silver and one bronze medals at the “José Joaquín Papa Carrillo” gymnasium in Miranda.
The second position was occupied by Zulia with 2 gold metals and an equal number of bronzes, followed by Táchira with two silver and one bronze.
The qualifying event was attended by 93 gymnasts and 12 teams from 15 states.
First medal
The Zulian Ambar Parra won the first gold medal of the day in the hoop mode with a record of 22,140 (4.30, 3.50, 7.27, 7.07), followed by the Carabobeña Aransa Conde with a score of 21,060 (4.60, 3.30, 6.93, 6.23). The podium was also completed by Marcela Corzo from Zulia with 18,360 (3.50, 2.60, 6.33, 5.93).
In addition to the medalists, the Tachirense Leymar Murillo, the Carabobeña Valeria González, the capital Fabiana Álvarez, the Merida Lucía Ojeda and the Mirandina Sofía Arrechedera complete the group of athletes who won their pass to the National Games.

The silver and bronze medals went to the capital's Anais Córdoba and María Salas with 21,200 (5.10, 2.70, 6.87, 6.53) and 21,030 (5.00, 2.40, 7.03, 6.60) respectively.
In addition to the medalists, the gymnasts who secured their qualification for the national event in the club category were Leymar Murillo and Camila Cruz from Tachira, Daniela Araujo from Zulia, Sofía Arrechedera from Miranda and Kamila Arroyo from Guairia.
Golden rematch
María Salas had her golden revenge in the last device, after occupying third place in clubs; the capital won the gold medal in the ribbon with a record of 18,900 (3.60, 2.70, 6.47, 6.13).
