Ricardo Menéndez: In the year 2026 the fundamental goal is the consolidation of Popular Power

The sectoral vice-president of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, stated that in the year 2026 the fundamental goal is the consolidation of Popular Power.

In this regard, he stressed that this period “represents a historic milestone for the country's political structure, defining it as a turning point in the organization of the Venezuelan State.”

During a new day of Update of the Concrete Agenda for Action (ACA), held at the Hugo Chávez Frías Municipality, in the Coche parish of Caracas, Menéndez explained that this process is taking place within the framework of the seven strategic lines promoted by the National Government.

Menéndez emphasized the need to align all levels of public management with community priorities. He added that “there is a need to synergize the entire State budgetary system.”

He added that the objective is to build a new system of government where the commune is the protagonist in the planning and execution of direct solutions for communities.
