Risk Management strengthens response capacity in the national territory

The Deputy Minister for Risk Management, Juan Carlos Oti Paituvi, proposed the assignment of new materials to the Operational Zones for Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (ZOEDAN), which will be strategically distributed to the country's states and municipalities, with prior verification of their proper control, to strengthen response capacity at the regional and local levels.

The information was published on the Instagram account of the Command, Control and Telecommunications Center VEN 9-1-1, in which it was highlighted that the National Director of Civil Protection and Disaster Management, verified the status of communications, command and control, ensuring that all the data necessary for decision-making is updated and available.

A central point on the agenda was the preparation of the report on the rainy season, a fundamental document that will collect the lessons learned, lessons learned and recommendations to improve the institutional response.

Several crucial points were also addressed, where promotion processes and award proposals were mentioned, with the purpose of expediting and recognizing the work of the organization's staff.
