Public servants of the Risk Management and Civil Protection System were deployed in the 14 municipalities of the state of Carabobo, given the impact of the rains that have affected different parts of the territorial entity, as well as the city of Valencia, reported the governor, Rafael Lacava, who also stressed that the aforementioned institution is being monitored.

“We have had some flooding events, such as the case in the south of Valencia, in Caño La Yuca, on the Trapichito bridge, and from now on, all the work will begin for its demolition, and we will do one again, because it was poorly designed and that generates a plug every time the rivers carry all the waste that they irresponsibly throw into the rivers,” said Lacava.

The governor accompanied by the mayor of Valencia, Julio Fuenmayor, took a tour of Paseo Cabriales Avenue, at the height of the Museum of Culture and around the Páez Bridge and surrounding areas, to verify the flow of the Cabriales River.

“We have been providing comprehensive protection and cleaning to the Cabriales River, since Mañonguito we have been cleaning in the Kerdell Park and North Center communities, and we thank the community leadership that has been fundamental in this supervision and cleaning of the Cabriales River,” said Fuenmayor.
