Rodríguez: Electoral schedule proposal document will be delivered to the CNE this Friday

During a press conference, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, reported that the Dialogue Days with different sectors of the country resulted in more than 27 proposals to date elections.
In this regard, he specified that this document will be delivered to the National Electoral Council (CNE) this Friday, the first of March.
“The CNE is the one that is empowered by this Constitution to draw up electoral schedules and call elections of any kind in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” he stressed.
In addition, he indicated that he will propose to the CNE that it develop a brand new regulatory mechanism for the operation of social networks in electoral campaigns.
He stressed that more than 150 representatives participated in the elaboration of a proposal that means an in-depth dialogue. “We consider this to be a very powerful document and we hope that all good men and women in the country will assume that this is a national document that establishes an adequate framework for the presidential elections,” he concluded.
