The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated on Sunday Venezuela's firm commitment to the fight against fascism and various expressions of hate and intolerance.

In this regard, after exercising his right to vote, he stressed that the country remains at the forefront of defending human rights, inclusion and peace.

Venezuela is fighting fascism in all its forms, at a time when the voices of extremism are being heard with terrible concern around the world. Our country teaches a lesson in dignity: Here fascism is left behind,” Rodríguez said.

The vice-president stated that the policies promoted by the National Executive reflect the humanist nature of the Bolivarian Revolution, aimed at maintaining the well-being of the people in the face of currents that promote exclusion, racism and xenophobia.

Rodríguez highlighted the comprehensive support that the Bolivarian Government has provided to young migrants who have returned to their homes after having suffered discrimination abroad.

“Many of our young people were subjected to situations of xenophobia and hate. Today, through this mission, we tell them: return to your country, to the loving arms of your families, your friends, and receive the support of the State, which provides psychological and social care as part of a recovery process,” he said.

“We are building a country of well-being for all, and our young migrants are an essential part of that project,” he concluded.
