Rumba Caracas kicks off this 18D to the rhythm of merengue in Plaza Diego Ibarra

The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, from Plaza Diego Ibarra, announced the Christmas program and concerts of Retumba Caracas 2024.

“Both the mayor's office and the Government of Caracas are going to be deployed for four days and then we pause for the 24th so that the family can receive the Child Jesus in peace.”

In this regard, he specified that more than 1 thousand officials will be deployed to provide security to the public, as well as a medical team and a first aid team, in addition to the fire department and “of course the entire police scheme that will provide security and a luxury of stage that we are going to present here so that you can enjoy four consecutive days starting on the 18th”.

The Retumba Caracas program includes performances of different musical genres, ranging from salsa to merengue, llaneras and vallenato.
