Russia: Defense system shot down 45 Ukrainian drones

This Wednesday, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that local air defense systems shot down 45 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in several provinces of the country.

“Last night, during another attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles against installations on the territory of the Russian Federation, air defense systems shot down 45 aircraft-type drones,” the agency said in a statement.

They also destroyed 11 drones in the Moscow region, 23 in the Bryansk region, six in the Belgorod region, three in the Kaluga region and two in the Kursk region, Telesur said.

Aerial vehicles were shot down on the outskirts of Moscow, above the city of Podolsk. At the site where the wreckage fell, there were no casualties or material damage, according to preliminary data.
