This Monday, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that its anti-aircraft defense systems managed to intercept and destroy 507 fixed-wing drones operated by Ukrainian forces in a 24-hour period.
During these operations, which lasted from noon Sunday to Monday, Russian forces also neutralized eight guided bombs and seven maritime projectiles manufactured in the United States (USA).
The military report detailed that the Russian attacks focused on dismantling transport infrastructure, ammunition depots and logistics centers for the storage and launch of unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to the Defense Department, the casualties in the Ukrainian ranks during these clashes amount to an estimated 1,240 troops, between dead and injured, after maneuvers carried out in various sectors of the front.
Regarding the loss of equipment, the report notes the destruction of several weapons systems, including a large caliber multiple rocket launcher, a RAK-12 system of Croatian origin and armoured infantry vehicles models Marder and Puma.
In addition, 15 radars were reported to have been disabled, including two Israeli-made Rada RPS-42 anti-battery systems, impacting the surveillance capacity of Kiev's troops.
Russian authorities highlighted the use of drones to carry out precision strikes against an Iris-T anti-aircraft missile complex, supplied by Germany to Ukrainian forces.
While these actions were taking place, units of the Eastern group continued their strategic advance on defensive positions in the Zaporozhie and Dniepropetrovsk regions, consolidating operational pressure in the conflict field.
