This Tuesday, the spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, denounced the Kiev regime's attempt to blame Moscow for alleged deliberate attacks on civilian targets.

The spokeswoman stressed that it has already been confirmed that a Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile hit a building on the territory of the children's hospital in the Ukrainian capital the day before.

Zakharova indicated that on July 8, “in response to repeated attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to cause harm to companies in the economic complex” of Russia, the Russian Armed Forces “launched a group attack with long-range precision weapons against military targets in Ukraine.” Among the targets hit by Russian missiles are:

The Artiom, Antonov and Luch design office manufacturing plants and the Luch design office in Kiev

  • The Dnepr and Yuzhmash companies in Dnepropetrovsk
  • The heavy engineering plant in Kramatorsk
  • The warehouses of Western weapons and military equipment at the Arcilor Mittal Metallurgical Plant in Krivoi Rog, among other facilities

“Once again, as has happened on many occasions with the Ukrainian air defense, its missiles were diverted and hit residential buildings and social institutions,” Zakharova said of the Russian attack on Ukrainian military objectives.

He also added that “the same thing happened this time. It has already been confirmed, even by numerous witnesses, that one of the missiles of the NASAMS anti-aircraft system, manufactured in the West (Norway), hit a building on the territory of the Ojmatdet children's hospital in Kiev.”
