Russian Defense Ministry report details casualties and losses of Ukrainian equipment

On June 3, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation presented the daily balance corresponding to the special military operation, detailing the development of the actions carried out by the various military groups in the conflict zones, where the casualties and the destruction of strategic equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were counted, as reported by the TASS news agency.

In the North Group's area of operations, which encompasses the Sumy and Kharkov regions, the Ukrainian Army recorded more than 205 casualties, in addition to the loss of 13 cars and four artillery pieces. For its part, the Western group, operating in Kharkov and the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), reported the loss of up to 190 Ukrainian soldiers, three armored vehicles and 16 cars, along with electronic warfare equipment.

In the area of responsibility of the South group in the DPR, up to 125 Ukrainian troops were reported out of combat, as well as the destruction of three armored vehicles and various artillery and radar systems. In addition, the Centro group, with activities in Dnepropetrovsk and the DPR, reported that Kiev lost more than 315 soldiers and several armored and transport vehicles.

In the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhie regions, the Eastern group caused casualties of up to 435 Ukrainian soldiers, in addition to the destruction of armored vehicles and artillery. Finally, the Dnepr group, operating in Zaporozhie, recorded the loss of up to 30 soldiers and 20 cars from the Ukrainian side.

During the day, Russian air defense systems managed to intercept six guided bombs, six HIMARS projectiles and a total of 754 drones.
