The international observer, Dmitry Lameikyn, confirmed the excellence of the Venezuelan electoral system during this Sunday's elections in Venezuela, when a total of 569 positions were elected among deputies, governors and members of Legislative Councils.

“In the company of our international colleagues, we have been observing the voting process that took place today in Venezuela and for those who have participated in political campaigns in Russia as a candidate, it is very interesting to see the Venezuelan system, especially because of its citizen identification system that excludes the possibility of a person voting instead of another person or voting several times,” said the international guest.

Lameykin mentioned that one of the most important details of the computer system used by the Venezuelan National Electoral Council is both electronic and physical control, which allows us to verify and guarantee that the votes are real and feasible.

He also highlighted the control system between electronic voting and the physical paper ticket.

“We believe that the Venezuelan technical system was impeccable and guarantees the vote of citizens,” he said.
