A new charter flight with 100 tourists from Moscow arrived at Margarita Island, in the state of Nueva Esparta. A milestone that adds to the successful reactivation of this important air route as part of the ongoing efforts of the Venezuelan Tourism Office (VENETUR) in Russia.
This arrival comes just one day after the arrival of 441 Russian tourists, bringing the total to more than 500 visitors in the last 48 hours.
According to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Tourism, since the reactivation of the charter flight on August 8, the island has received more than 1,400 visitors, demonstrating the consolidation of the Moscow-Porlamar route and the strength of the agreements with the tour operators Pegas Touristik and Hover Tour.
The head of national tourism, Leticia Gómez, stressed that “our objective is to consolidate Venezuela as an attractive destination . We want visitors to have the opportunity to explore our diversity, from Caribbean beaches to Andean landscapes and the Amazon rainforest,” he said.
