Ruta de la Esperanza brought movies to families at the Gran Base de Paz camp in Caracas

The families of the Hugo Chávez Gran Base de Paz Transitional Camp, located in Quinta Crespo, Caracas, enjoyed the screening of the Venezuelan film Papita, Maní, Tostón as part of the cultural activities of the Route of Hope, an initiative aimed at accompanying those affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the day offered a space for recreation and recreation for people temporarily housed in the camp, with the objective of contributing to emotional support during the contingency.

The event was attended by the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Raúl Caza l; the president of the National Autonomous Cinematography Center (CNAC), Román Chamorro; and the director of the feature film, Luis Carlos Hueck.

During the meeting, the authorities and the filmmaker shared with those present and reaffirmed their absolute support, solidarity and commitment to the emotional well-being of the families affected during the contingency.
