The Public Ministry (MP) has deployed 1,560 officials throughout the national territory, in order to ensure that “everything is done correctly” and that there are no violent acts in the elections of this July 27, so that everyone can attend to vote peacefully, said the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, after exercising his right to vote.
In this regard, in statements to Venezolana de Televisión, he stressed that among these officials are senior prosecutors, interim prosecutors and assistant prosecutors, general line directors who ensure that nothing impedes the human rights of Venezuelans, established in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
He also congratulated the People for their behavior, for their civic and noble attitude, which is a global example, not only for Latin America, but for the entire world.
“People know that the only way to settle differences is through voting, debate, dialogue of ideas and that is what is happening today,” he said.
For that reason, he urged those who have not yet exercised their right to vote to go, peacefully, with their families so that Venezuela can remain a nation of peace.
“Every election that happens in Venezuela sends a signal to the world: Venezuela wants peace,” he said.
Saab assured that those who intend to generate violence inside and outside our borders must be removed from political, organic and structural life.
