The
Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME)
announces to the community the launch of its new Migration
Validation service through its official website www.saime.gob.ve
This
new technological tool emerges as a response to the need of
users to resolve inconsistencies in their records of
movements to and from the National Territory, a situation technically
known as “Migratory Error”, which previously
required the physical presence of the applicant in the offices of the main headquarters.
This
advance will allow users, both Venezuelan and foreign, to
manage the correction of their immigration status from the comfort of
their home, eliminating managers and making it easier to obtain
travel documents such as passports that are often withheld due to lack of movement closures in the system.
The institution's website details the steps to follow to carry out the procedure and clarifies that once the
information has been sent, the SAIME migration experts carry out the analysis of the data to proceed with the updating of
the history in a decisive period of time.
