The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, signed this Thursday the reform of the Law on the Statute of the Function of the Investigative Police, aimed at standardizing the hierarchical levels of investigative bodies with the rest of the citizen security agencies.

During an act to adapt the Peace Quadrants in the state of Bolivar, accompanied by the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, the president in charge pointed out that she had “this debt to the security agencies.”

He stressed that this law was approved thanks to the management of the National Assembly, which was installed a month ago and is progressing. “The public authorities in Venezuela who prevented the imposition of chaos, who did not allow violence to spread in our country. We are a single team holding the reins of this country,” he emphasized.

This legal instrument optimizes police operations, raises the institution's ethical and professional standards and adapts it to current technological and social challenges.
