A total of 9,404 citizens were registered through social operations carried out throughout the country by the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) during the month of August.

This figure was achieved thanks to the execution of several strategic plans developed by the identification house, with the Manuelita Sáenz Route being the one with the greatest impact, facilitating the renewal of cards for 5,558 workers and employees of various organizations and companies in our country.

This route, according to a press release from the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace, was deployed by 28 public and private institutions in the country, facilitating the procedure to their workplaces.

Other social programs that also yielded significant results were attention to indigenous communities, where a total of 995 original inhabitants renewed their identity documents.

On the other hand, the Antonio José de Sucre Plan managed to register 1,303 people, while Operation Caracas Smile served 1,501 people from Caracas, through different parishes in the Libertador municipality. These days are held in conjunction with other government entities, which provide public services.

SAIME also extended its efforts to Venezuelans with special needs with the José Gregorio Hernández Route, which has covered 12 states of the country, serving citizens with medical conditions or reduced mobility, taking the identification service to their homes and ensuring their inclusion.

In addition, specific days were held that benefit key populations, through the Penitentiary Route, where 533 prisoners obtained their Identity Card. In addition to these are the 695 people from Caracas who attended a Social Day for Peace and Life.

In addition, Venezuelans and naturalized individuals whose identification cards are in the range of 22 to 32 million continue to verify data in the operations deployed by the agency and in all SAIME offices located in the country.
